House Of Arden

This book was a bad choice. I only got about half way then decided to abandon it. It was about a girl and her brother who sent out on a journey one day. They lived in a very small ramshackle house and their dad was no longer alive. They came upon a house that was mysterious. An old man was living in the house and told them that their family used to be royalty in this town. They went on to try and find the lost destiny of their family. Each chapter they were trying to find a new thing that would help them solve their family mystery. Towards the begining they discovered that the ld man they had met was a member of their family. That's where I stopped. It wasn't that the writing was bad, it was just a boring plot. It almost seemed like a childrens book. I am now going to begin reading Stargirl which was recommended to me by a friend. i have heard that this is a good book, so I am excited to read something a little more entertaining.
