A Great and Terrible Beauty

I just started reading this book (and by just started, I mean like first ten pages) called A Great and Terrible Beauty, By Libba Bray. It is about a girl named Gemma Doyle, who lives in India with her mom and dad. Until they are both murdered, and she is sent to live in the place she has wanted to visit for a very long time, London. She is sent to a school there, called Spence Acadamy, and very quickly she realizes that she isn't the only paranormal person there at that school. You see, Gemma has the ability to see into the future, something that she finds out that her mother could also do.

  1. AHHHH! Jessie I'm SO happy you picked up this book. This book is truly one of my favorite books, and the cover is so misleading. This book progresses deeper as the series go, so if you like this book, PLEASE read the other two books. This post actually wants me to reread the series. I also love Libba Bray's versatility. She's written completely different books that are also as amazing as this series. She's written Going Bovine, which is halarious and incredibly crafted. I hope that you continue reading her books! :)
