Half The Sky

I am reading a book called Half the Sky and I just started it. It is about sex trafficking in Africa and Asia. There are personal stories that are so touching and sad, and it makes me want to do something to help. I have been learning about red light districts and how promising jobs turn into disasters and forced prostitution. The authors Nicholas Kristoff and Sheryl Wudunn travelled to these places and talked to/tried to help women that have fallen prey to the terrible cycle. I have heard two stories so far and it really makes me want to get involved and educate women to stop sex trafficking.
