I recently finished The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. I have moved onto her next book in the trilogy (Catching Fire). I am a little ways into this book and it has been just as good. This book is has a slower pace than The Hunger Games does. Where I am in the book right now Katniss has returned home and is drawing in much more attention of others than she did when she was home in The Hunger Games. I am currently planning on finishing this book and moving onto the next book in the series (Mockingjay). These books are all science fiction; I think I will move onto realistic fiction or non-fiction for the next quarter if I finish this series to get some more variety. The main character (Katniss) is under a lot of stress in this story as she is pressured a lot. The capitol is trying to get her to lie about something that went on in the games. If it were me this would be very hard choice because she has to either lie to her close friends about something important or see her best friend Gale get killed. This may sound confusing but I’m trying not to give away anything.
