The Help

I have been reading The Help, and can I tell you, it has just been getting better! I have learned about a book that the girls wrote together, which was a great "bonding experience for the girls. I thought it was really funny when Ms. Hilly found out that part of the story was about her. Ms. Hilly didn't tell anyone that the girls worked on the book together because otherwise the girls would tell everyone that Ms. Hilly was in the book. There has been a lot that has happened, but not all of what has happened been really important to the book yet. This book has really made me think about things that I usually wouldn't think about like what it was truly like for the help and also how people saw things and what things meant to them, that we don't usually think of being important. So far I think that it has been an amazing book and I'm really excited to see the movie after I finish this book. I did slow down a little bit because of our other reading book, but I have got back on track and I'm going to try to read even more!
