Girls Acting Catty

I have started and finished a book called Girls Acting Catty. This book is about a girl named Annabellle that moved to a new school this year and is in 6th grade. She has three new good friends and one best friend, Rachel. All of her friends strongly dislike the popular Taylor Stransfield and her followers. They are referred to as the "Terrible T's". Annabelle seemingly has no problems with Taylor, but is almost forced to hate her by her friends. As the book progresses, Annabelle finds out that Taylor really is a bad person because she made fun of Annabelle and tried to break up her friend Emma's relationship with a guy name Joe. Then, on thanksgiving Annabelle unknowingly ends up at Taylor's house because her almost step dad is close friends with Taylor's dad. They realize they have many things in common and they become good friends. This is a dilema for Annabelle because her best friend Rachel thinks that Annabelle is trying to be cool by hanging out with Taylor. And that's not Annabelle's only dilema. She secretly doesn't want her mom to marry her soon to be step dad, but its going to happen. She also has a crush on her newly met soon to be step brother who is 9 years older than her. She doesn't know how to tell her friends and Taylor thinks he is cute too. Overall, the plot was intriguing, but the writing was somewhat amatuer-ish.
