If I Stay by Gale Forman

I have just finished reading If I Stay by Gale Forman. Although, it's a very confusing book I really enjoyed it! It's about a 17 year old girl named Mia who has just been in a severe car accident with her family. Instead of being in her previous body she is now having an out-of-body experience. She is actually seeing herself from a different life. She watches her former friends and family find her at the hospital where she's there recovering. Mia basically relives her entire life through the book and must choose whether she wants to stay alive and live a very difficult life or actually die. It sounds super traumatic, but it was actually worth reading. This book is very similar to Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver and Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher. I would suggest this book to those who like books with a far deeper meaning and one that gets very personal and jumps right into your emotions! Overall, I absolutely loved this book!!
