Three Cups of Tea

This quarter I read Three Cups of Tea by Greg Mortenson. This is a completely true story about Greg Mortenson's life journey. His sister died when he was younger and years later he went climbing up a mountain called K2 in honor of her. He ends up lost in a village of kids who are poor without education. He returns to that village after years, as promised and builds the kids a school. He ends up building schools all over Pakistan for kids in need of education and does much more to help out with them. He eventually starts his own business to build schools all around that area to help the kids. He endures many challenges along the way including being in Pakistan on 9/11 and being a target for al qaeda. This is and exciting book that is sad and I recommend it to everyone.
