Seabiscuit
The book that I am currently reading is Seabiscuit by Laura Hillenbrand. The story is about a racehorse during the 1930-40's. Seabiscuit was owned by Charles Howard and was trained by Sunny Jim Fitzsimmons and Tom Smith. Seabiscuit was a horse who was considered a less than ideal horse for successful racing, and he was very lazy, but later on he became a very successful horse and one of the most loved of all time. Horse racing was very popular in this time period and Seabiscuit was a symbol of hope and overcoming all odds to thrive and be successful.
